Can I Get Coverage Under The ACA If I Have Medicaid?
While you cannot receive both Medicaid and ACA benefits, below are a few scenarios that could allow an individual or family to be eligible for ACA even if they are currently on Medicaid:
- Someone making less than $21,000 and their Medicaid is about to expire
- Someone making less than $21,000 and their filing status is changing
- Your household makes less than $21,000, but you are starting a new job within 90 days
*Income requirements vary by state.
